We're heading to MIDEM Cannes — and launching GIGNITE to the music industry

The future of live music does not need more noise. It needs better connections.

From 4–6 February, GIGNITE will be at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes, as one of the companies selected for MIDEM's Startup Village.

It is a chance to introduce GIGNITE to artists, innovators, industry leaders, investors and touring partners who are actively shaping what comes next for music.

Live music is still held together by disconnected inboxes, spreadsheets, phone calls and guesswork. Artists spend too much time chasing opportunities and piecing together tour plans. Venues can be invisible to the artists who need them. Promoters, managers, agents and suppliers often have the information but not a shared way to act on it.

That is the problem GIGNITE is built to solve.

GIGNITE is a platform that connects artists, venues, promoters, managers, agents and suppliers in one intelligent ecosystem. It gives artists and their teams tools to plan, organise and manage gigs and tours themselves — with less admin, more control and better visibility. GIGNITE is free for artists; it is not an artist manager or management service.

With thousands of venues already in the database, ready to be claimed, the foundations are there for a more connected touring network. And as more live-music activity moves through the platform, GIGNITE turns scattered processes into intelligence that helps the wider ecosystem make better decisions.

MIDEM matters because live music's challenges will not be solved by one part of the industry working in isolation. Artists need venues. Venues need viable routing. Suppliers need visibility. Audiences need more opportunities to see great live music in more places.

We will be in the Startup Village from 4–6 February, listening, sharing what we are building and talking about how practical technology can make live music more transparent, connected and sustainable.
